Objective
Purpose of the course:
The purpose of the course is to broaden and deepen your knowledge of environmental diversity and to provide tools for assessing and modifying the environment to enhance human agency.

Learning objectives of the course
After completing this course, you will understand the impact of the environment on the human right to fulfil a person's occupational needs. You will be familiar with the complexity of the concepts of environment and accessibility as well as the basics of assessing and modifying the environment. You will understand the process of acquiring assistive devices and the potential of home modifications as a means of increasing human participation and agency. You will be able to consider the diversity of the working environment, and issues affecting safety and ergonomics and be aware of the potential of technology in rehabilitation. You can plan and carry out a home visit.

1 Sufficient
The student has sufficient knowledge about environmental accessibility and home modifications. The student remembers some assistive devices and the processes of delivering the devices to clients. The student can find evidence-based information but can use it weakly. The student recalls facts about accessibility and assistive devices and can make a plan for a home visit as an occupational therapist. (course assignment)
