Objective
Aim of the course
The aim of the course is learning to plan safe and goal-oriented physical activity for children and working-age people and guide them in it as well as to examine a mode of guidance that comes naturally to you.

Intended learning outcome of the course:
You know how to work in a customer-centric manner and promote the health and well-being of individuals and groups, stressing the importance of physical activity and exercise.

Content
The key content of the course comprises the principles of safe and goal-oriented guidance of physical activity for children and working-age people and the structure of a physical activity session. Children's physical activity contains age-appropriate games, a motor skills activity course and outdoor exercise. Physical activity for working-age people contains the significance of core muscles and mastering correct motion paths when guiding muscle tone exercises, the principles of warm-ups and cool-downs, and guidance to music. The course includes guidance sessions for children and working-age people as well as guiding exercise breaks at work.
Assessment criteria, approved/failed
You understand the elements of a safe and goal-oriented exercise session. You know how to draw on the principles of guiding physical activity to plan and deliver physical activity sessions for children and working-age people. You are aware of your posture and motion paths when guiding muscle tone exercises and know how to use music to support guidance. You interact naturally with your clients. You identify the strengths and development areas of your guidance competence.
