Objective

Student understands most important terms of energy industry, regognizes and understands global energy sources and energy consumption, climate and energy policy. Student knows ja understands the most important energy production solutions, structure of electrical and district heating networks and electricity markets. Student also understands costs of energy production and operation.

Combined heat and power production
Steam boiler tehcnics
Nuclear Power
Hydro power and other renewable energy production, costs of energy production and use, electricity networks and markets, heating markets and disticr heating, climate change, climate agreements, climate and energy policy, energy efficiency.
