Objective
The student understand the limitations of embedded programming. The student is able to design, program and implement a versatile embedded device. The student understands the principles of filtering when reading data from sensors and can present the sensor information in different media. The student masters the basics of device design
Content
The course contains programming of basic functions of micro controllers and controlling analog actuators with processor. The students familiarize themselves with versatile sensors and learns how to include sensors as parts of embedded systems.

Excellent 5: The student masters the theory on embedded systems and is able to analyze existing solutions diversely. The student is able to design an embedded system based on given requirement definition. The student is able to implement the design. The student reflects on his (her) own learning excellently.
Very good 4: The student masters the theory on embedded systems commendably and is able to analyze existing solutions diversely. The student is able to design an embedded system based on given requirement definition without major flaws. The student is able to implement the design. The student reflects on his (her) own learning.
Good 3: The student masters the theory on embedded systems in outline and is able to analyze existing solutions. The student is able to design an embedded system based on given requirement definition in outline. The student is able to implement the design. The student reflects on his (her) own learning.
Satisfactory 2: The student knows the theory on embedded system in outline and is able to analyze existing solutions acceptably. The student is able to design an embedded system based on given requirement definition satisfactorily. The student is able to implement the design acceptably. The student reflects on his (her) learning satisfactorily.
Sufficient 1: The student masters the theory on embedded systems sufficiently and is able to analyze existing solutions passably and is able to design an embedded system based on given requirement definion. The student is able to implement the design based on given requirement definition sufficiently. The student reflects on his (her) own thinking passably.
Fail 0: The student does not meet the minimum criteria set for the course.
