Objective

The students understand the factors behind stage fright. They are aware of their strengths and resources important to public performers and are not afraid of speaking in front of an audience. They also become aware of their personal, communicative competence and develop their communicative skills. The students’ self-confidence as public performers increases.

Content

Social anxiety that affects studies and social situations is dealt with from a psychological and communicational perspective. Social situations encountered at school, work and in spare time are simulated in a safe and encouraging atmosphere.
The students make progress according to their personal objectives and receive individual guidance throughout the course period.

The students can analyze stage fright as a phenomenon and explore their personal situations through psychological concepts and a communicative point of view. The students understand causes of stage fright, recognize their personal strengths and are able to act in diverse situations communicating with others. They are also able to apply
the knowledge acquired in social situations.
