Objective
After completing the course, the student will be able to name and locate in Finnish and Latin the following muscles of the trunk region and define their functions (muscle innervation is covered in a separate course): • Muscles of the neck • Superficial muscles of the neck and back • Deep muscles of the neck and back • Respiratory muscles • Abdominal muscles
Qualifications
Course: Human musculoskeletal anatomy 1: Basic terms and structures 1 - 1 ECTS or equivalent knowledge.
Assessment criteria, approved/failed
Passed: The student demonstrates proficiency in the essential knowledge of the musculoskeletal system anatomy and achieves at least 70% correct answers in the exam. Failed: The student's understanding of the anatomy of the musculoskeletal system is inadequate, and they scored less than 70% on the exam.
