Enhancing Your Leadership WorkLaajuus (5 cr)

Objective

The student can function in a team and can adjust his / her own behaviour to support the team roles. He / she can lead team functions in a target-oriented manner. The student has the ability to perform in public in his / her managerial role. The student can both collect and give feedback and adapt his /her own actions as well as organise work in his / her area of responsibility.

Content

Group phenomenon, roles in a team, group dynamics. Leading the team in a target-oriented manner, appearing in public as a manager in social contexts. The importance and analysing feedback. Leadership and role play exercises.

Qualifications

Basic knowledge and skills of managerial work and functioning as a subordinate. Skills to analyse one's own leadership work. Written and oral communication of leaderhip work.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Assessment is based on knowledge, skills and competence in accordance with the National and European Qualifications Framework, Level 6.The assessment criteria for individual courses are given in an annex to the implementation plan of the course.
