Objective

The students master the production process of a web application. They are able to build various kinds of applications for the WWW environment, and they understand the role of object oriented programming and software architectures in application development. They are able to utilise the latest techniques in WWW application development and know the latest development trends in the field.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Excellent (5): The student is able to apply the knowledge and skills he/she has learnt during the course in a creative way. He/she is able to implement an extensive WWW application which is structurally functional and utilises modern techniques. He/she is able to independently advance his/her knowledge and put it to practice.
Good (4-3): The student is able to apply the knowledge and skills he/she has leant during the course in an expedient and goal-oriented way and implement a WWW application which is structurally functional and utilises modern techniques He/she is able to independently advance his/her knowledge.
Satisfactory/sufficient (2-1): The student shows that he/she understands the basics of WWW application development and is able to implement a WWW application which is structurally passable and utilises modern techniques.
