Objective
The student knows how to design a low noise amplifier understands the meaning of signal-to-noise ratio in the design process. The student understands the basics of a power source design.
Content
Sensor design, power source design, S/N ratio in the design of sensor amplifier. A printed circuit board will be designed and produced according to the design rules for a sensor and power source using tools used in industry.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
Excellent (5) The student masters the meaning of S/N ratio in sensor applications and knows well how to apply the theory to practice. The student can design power sources.
Good (3-4) The student understands the meaning of S/N ratio in sensor applications and can apply the theory to practice. The student can design simple power sources.
Satisfactory (1-2) The student knows the topologies of the main circuits in different power sources and he (she) understands the noise problems in sensor design.
