Objective

The students are able to compare and find solutions to carry out the work of the various agricultural production forms, as well as to assess the viability of changing the production form according to the machines, buildings and competence of a developing farm. In order to achieve this main goal, the students
- understand the concept of production form
- can follow the impact of trends on the production forms
- aim at developing work based on a process- and customer-oriented approach
- master the basics of workplace wellness, workload and ergonomics, and are able to apply them to the development of work
- know the basics of time study and methods research and can use their principal methods
- can collect information on production forms
- can use classifications and comparison tables to compare the production forms
- can identify the main challenges related to production form change, and address them.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Inexperienced performer
Masters the concepts related to production forms, work and development presented in the course. Knows the impact of trends on production forms. Knows the basics of ergonomically good work, work analysis, and can use them to develop his/her own work to be safe, healthy and efficient. Can compare the various production forms using a table.
Developing performer
In comparing the production forms, can emphasize different points, based on each meaning, with regard to the farm-specific entity. Is able to give justified advice to other farm workers on how to improve the safety and efficiency of work. Knows the challenges of development.
Competent performer
Understands and can take into account, in general terms, the effects of the simplification of the taught models and theories on the development of production forms. Is also able to look for his/her own innovative technological solutions for the various production forms. Is able to provide counselling to the workers of unknown farms regarding work improvement, considering the farm’s production form.
