Objective

The students
•know the different actors of tourism and common concepts and phenomena related to experiential products
•identify the sectors of tourism both nationally and internationally
•assess the requirements set by different tourists for experiential products
•strengthen experience production supporting a company’s business idea
•assess the profitability of experiential products from the perspective of a tourism enterprise
•optimally exploit a company’s resources and those of the business environment, considering wellbeing, economy and sustainable development
•manage unbroken production processes of experiential products surpassing the expectations of the customers of a tourism enterprise
• build qualitative and economic follow-up systems and utilize the information they have collected to develop tourism services
•master the production process of experiential products and utilize relevant tools and methods to implement and manage it

• Focal perspectives: multidisciplinarity, aesthetics, sustainable development, wellness
•information regarding the demand and customers of experiential products
• international and national product markets of experiential products
•tourism programme service system:
o multisensory products
o programme service production system
o service culture
• the experiential production and management process of tourism

Qualifications

Student
•master the starting points of customer-oriented activity
•collects and produces future-oriented client information.
•now the tourism cluster, its business environment and related phenomena. They have basic business skills and know the operations logic of service and production processes.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Assessment (external and self-assessment) is based on how the student’s ability to analyse and apply his/her knowledge to practice meets the objectives of the course.
