Objective

The student is able to apply the principles of motoric learning/guidance and masters physiotherapeutic exercise methods used to prevent, repair and compensate for functional impairments, and to maintain/improve clients’ remaining functional ability to enhance their performance and participation.

Content

Exercising body control in different positions, moving from one position to another, and moving in different positions. Exercising fine motor functions.
Play guidance for various age groups; exercise of concentration, attentiveness, perceptual functions and activities of daily living.
Use of exercise tools.
Main principles of neurotherapeutic methods.

Excellent (5) and Very good (4)
The student possesses extensive knowledge and skills, justifies his/her actions, and creates new solutions. Manual work is skilful and conclusions justified. The student pays attention to ergonomics, is capable of self-assessment to improve him/herself and peer assessment. In his/her written tasks, the student demonstrates an ability to describe and justify the phenomena of the subject area critically through one's own thinking and by utilizing sources appropriately and in a variety of ways. The student complies with the instructions on JAMK's written work.

Good (3)
The student possesses good knowledge and skills, justifies his/her actions, and tries to combine and apply knowledge and skills. His/her manual work is fluent, conclusions correct, and he/she pays attention to ergonomics in his/her activities. The student is capable of self-assessment and peer assessment. In his/her written tasks, the student demonstrates an ability to describe and justify the phenomena of the subject area by utilizing sources appropriately and in a variety of ways. The student complies with the instructions on JAMK's written work.

Satisfactory and Adequate (2-1)
The student assesses him/herself and fellow students. The student has completed the tasks agreed. In his/her work, very little to connect between the things presented can be found; reflexion is scanty. Nevertheless, there are references to the literature of the field and source references have been used.

Fail (0)
The student's knowledge is lacking, actuation and manual work is illogical and unsure, and he/she pays no attention to ergonomics. The student is not capable of self-assessment. In written work, the student has not familiarized him/herself with the subject area related to the work. The things presented repeat the lecture material, are disconnected or inappropriate; use of sources is irregular.
