Creative and Expressive Activities in Client WorkLaajuus (5 cr)

Objective

The student experiences and understands the meaning of creativity, art and esthetics to human self-knowledge, mental development and vocational growth. S/he understands art, drama, music and physical action as a way and method of self-expression, education and client work in social care and community work.

Content

Theoretical and practical basics of art education and creative expression applied in client work. Exercises, games and methods of pedagogical drama, improvisation, music and physical action.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

A Excellent 5:The student is creative in his/her written, oral, visual, bodily and musical problem solving tasks and presentations. S/he can assess his/her own action critically. S/he understands the meaning of creativity in client work and communities.
B Very Good 4: The student is creative and innovative in his/her written, oral, visual, bodily and musical problem solving tasks and presentations. S/he can assess his/her own action critically S/he can create and develop new ways of action and methods in client work and communities.
C Good 3: The student is good and developing in his/her written, oral, visual, bodily and musical problem solving skills and presentations. S/he can assess his/her own action personally and according to work requirements. S/he understands the meaning of creativity in client work and in his/her future.
D Satisfactory 2 and E Sufficient 1:
The student is able to perform his/her empiric knowledge and skills in written, oral, visual, bodily and musical problem solving tasks. (D2)S/he understands the general meaning of creativity in client work. (E1)
