Objective

The student knows the changes and trends in the functions of social and health care and can evaluate their effects on both clients´circumstances and managemenet/leadership competences.She/he has knowledge of enterpreuneship, partnership and development. Is able to network and cooperate with different groups and partners in his/her role as an immdetiate line manager or team leader.

Content

Includes the changes and trends in the Social and health care system in service provision,delivery, current legislations and developments, Ministerial strategies, goals and targets. Public and private social sector enterprises and enterprenuership,and organisations, partnership and service improvement, human resource mgt in the context of a welfare system and business.

Qualifications

The student knows the different theories of management and leadership, and the duties/role of the team leader and Human Resource Mgt.She/he understands the meaning of team leadership and can apply its principles in leading the processes of client-work and in developing working units.
