The student
-understands the different family formations and various types of families and relationships
-begins to reflect her/his own professional attitude towards different families and relatives
-knows different forms of family work and is competent in basic of family work
-knows the values, principles, goals and the system and services of child welfare and the basics of child protection legislations
-understands the process of child welfare
-knows how to use her/his knowledge and skills in socio-cultural work
-understands the significance of documents and documentation in child welfare work
- can think and act from the child`s point of view
