Objective

The student deepens the skills of the methods used in addiction treatment and probation services and knows how to use the model of social rehabilitation in addiction treatment and probation services. The student becomes familiar with the methods of individual, family, group and peer support used on the field as well as with communal methods in the environments of non-institutional and institutional care as well as in the 3rd sector. The student knows new methods and projects of the field and can assess the client's rehabilitation needs, implement service guidance and rehabilitation in accordance with care and service plan.

General outlook of addiction treatment and probation services
Methods of individual, family, group and peer support and communal methods
Services and projects of different service providers and of the 3rd sector
Changes, projects and tests in legislation
Tasks of Bachelor of Social Services in the field's services and projects

Qualifications

The student knows the basics of the service system and client work in addiction treatment and probation services. The students have become familiar with the rehabilitation methods and models and legislation concerning addiction treatment and probation services.
