Objective

The students can operate in the tasks of customer work, service guidance and subsistence security on the individual, family and community levels in the different areas of the service system. They have learnt the use of the working ways and work methods of the practice unit and can assess them.

Content

Supervised practice in the different task areas of sociocultural customer work, e.g. social service stations, addiction work, mental health care, criminal care, child welfare family work, multicultural work, in tasks of the Social Insurance Institution of Finland or of work administration or in separately agreed projects of customer work.

Qualifications

The students know the starting points of customer work and social guidance in the social field and are familiar with customer work and small group guidance. The students know the special services of social services, social security and customer legislation as well as the phases of the customer process.

Work, self-assessment and written report according to the objectives of the practice and to the practice plan
