Professional Practice IILaajuus (12 cr)

Objective

The student is cabable to work with clients, families and communities, in service counselling and in social security servicies. S/he notices the personal needs of clients and families for preventive and rehabilitative work.

Content

Professional practicing according to student´s personal study plan in the field of sosial work, kriminal work, mental health,child protection, family work, in Social Insurance Institution (Kela) or Employment and Economic Development Office.

Qualifications

The student knows the professional and ethical principles of social work. S/he knows the guiding methods of client groups and the client legislation.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Pass-Fail
An exercise will be given a passing grade when the student achieves a sufficient level of competence for the competence objective

An exercise will be given a failing grade when the student fails to achieves a sufficient level of competence for the competence objective.
