Objective

The student has an understanding of the requirements of team leadership, client work counselling and how to lead client processes in different ways provided services in social welfare and early education. The student is able to evaluate her/his own competence and development needs.

Content

Supervised practice in team leadership.
Separately agreed exercises and student-lead final assessment.

Qualifications

The student knows how to counsel and support different clients in their everyday life, on the different levels of their growth, development and learning and in their changing situations of life. The student knows the services supporting welfare and social security.
The students know the central leadership models of team leadership as well as the starting points of customer work guidance and work community know-how and related self-assessment

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The course will be asssested in the final discussion session.
Supervised practice is passed after the student has achieved the adequate competence as instructed in learning objectives.
The course is failed when the learning objectives and/or the training report are no approved.
