Objective
Student has the knowledge of the security requirements and the significance of security in wireless transmissions. Student is able to plan and deploy appropriate security solutions for the most common wireless data transfer connections. In addition, student has the ability to measure and evaluate security level of wireless network by using applicable security tools.
Content
Security components of wireless data transfer are explored within the course. In addition, applicable wireless network security measurement and analysis tools will be utilized.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
Excellent 5: Student has an excellent knowledge of security components and their role in the most commonly used wireless data transfer technologies. Student is able to measure and analyse the security of a present wireless network by using applicable security tools. Student can make use of an acquired theory of security methods in securing the wireless connection excellently.
Very good 4: Student has a very good knowledge of security components and their meaning in the most commonly used wireless data transfer technologies. Student is able to measure and analyse the security of a present wireless network by using applicable security tools. Student can make use of an acquired theory of security methods in securing the wireless connection very well.
Good 3: Student has a good knowledge of security components and their meaning in the most commonly used wireless data transfer technologies. Student is able to measure and analyse the security of a present wireless network by using applicable security tools.
