Objective
The student knows the basic principles of managing corporate IT services. He/she is able to apply the knowledge for planning, construction and maintenance of IT services. He (she) knows the principles, system structure and protocols of network management. He (she) is able to work out management using network management tools.
Content
The main contents of the course are network management, management methods and processes of IT services.
Qualifications
Networking technologies, especially network services. Layered structure of telecommunication and standardization in communications. Basic knowledge of operating systems.

Excellent 5: The student demonstrates excellent mastery of the theory on management of IT services and is able to analyse existing solutions in a versatile manner. The student is able to design an excellent IT service management system based on given requirement definition. The student reflects on his (her) own learning commendably.
Very good 4: The student demonstrates very good mastery of the theory on management of IT services and is able to analyse existing solutions in a versatile manner. The student is able to design a very good IT service management system based on given requirement definition. The student reflects on his (her) own learning very well.
Good 3: The student demonstrates good mastery of the theory on management of IT services and is able to analyse existing solutions in a versatile manner. The student is able to design a good IT service management system based on given requirement definition. The student reflects on his (her) own learning well.
Satisfactory 2: The student demonstrates satisfactory mastery of the theory on management of IT services and is able to analyse existing solutions in a versatile manner.
