Objective

The student can describe the development and the impact - and the multidimensionality of mental health. He/she understands the main individual and environmental factors influencing on substance abuse behavior and is capable to assess patients needs for medical treatment.

Content

- Different frameworks of mental health nursing
- Recognising mental health and substance abuse disorders, assessment and medical treatment. Psychiatry and psycho-pharmacology.
