Objective

The student has knowledge of the basic anatomy of production animals. The student knows the influence of the bodily functions of production animals on animal production and behavior. The student is familiar with the normal vital functions of production animals and is able to identify abnormalities.

The student understands the basic ethology of production animals. The student is able to make observations on the behavior of production animals. The student knows the species-specific behavior of production animals. The student knows the influence environment and care have on production animal behavior.

4 (very good) Along with aforementioned, the student can evaluate the influence of care and feeding on production animal constitution and behavior.
