Objectives

Student is able to plan and instruct applied physical activity for clients with neurolgical problems. Student is able to observe and assess physical education sessions. Student has natural contact and communication with clients.

Content

Group counseling for clients with neurological problems. Physical activity and methods to improve perseptual and cognitive skills as well as body awreness and co-operation skills

Teaching methods

In this course we learn together through adapted physical exercises, dialogues and lessons. You instruct two Physical Activity sessions for diverse client groups. You write a review and session plans for the instruction sessions. In final seminar you present your learning experiences to other students



Lectures, groupwork, contact lessons, planning, instructing and reflecting group sessions.

You instruct physical activity sessions for diverse client groups two times.

Evaluation criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

Pass: student attends contact lessons, student is capable to counsil adapted physical education individually as well as a member of a group
