Objective
The student is aware of the key factors of rehabilitation counselling both in a national and international context. The student acknowledges their need for information and can search and use relevant research data on rehabilitation counselling. The student is able to compare and reflect the rehabilitation counselling methods from different countries to the practices in Finland.

The student knows how to seek and use information necessary for the learning tasks related to national and international rehabilitation counselling, guidance and planning. The student is able to deepen their knowledge of both national and international rehabilitation counselling and rehabilitation organisations.
Qualifications
The student has a comprehensive view of the operations of the rehabilitation service system and the related legislation. The student is familiar with the forms, actors and client groups of rehabilitation. They are able to work together with different actors from different fields. They are familiar with theories and methods related to counselling and planning rehabilitation.
