Objective

The students understand the structure of materials and are able to solve amounts and concentrations by calculation. The students are familiar with chemical risks and safety.

EA-KU/EA-EP/TELWM/TELTR: The student must have awareness of danger of chemicals and be able to read chemical symbols and warning pictographs; connect theory and practice when handling chemicals.

Content

The content will include structure of materials, chemical calculation, mechanism of chemical reactions, combustion and production of energy by combustion, energy changes, hazardous chemicals, symbols, safety in work and environmental effects.
