• Inventor modelling and sheet metal (TKKP0550DI-3003),
         30.08.2022 – 31.07.2023,  2 cr  (ZJA23KTNO3, ...) — Online learning +-
    Learning outcomes of the course
The student masters the modelling of sheet metal parts and products. The student is able to model complex sheet metal items using different modelling techniques.
EA-EE: EUR-ACE Engineering design / TKNSU: Competence in design:
The student is able to model the sheet items of their choice in 3D and produce unambiguous 2D drawings and flat patterns of them based on mechanical drawing standards.
YHTVI: Communication skills: Students are able to attach drawings and technical documents to their assignments and theses. The student is able to transfer the information on the model to the sheet metal processing machine.
    Prerequisites and co-requisites
Basics of mechanical drawing, CAD and Inventor.
    Course contents
Sheet metal modelling and parameters. The structure of the model and the use of a testing schematic as an aid. Drawing and assembly hierarchy. Creating drawings based on models.
    Assessment criteria
    Assessment criteria, passed/failed
The student is able to model the given assignments and make unambiguous workshop drawings based on them. Handing in assignments.
