    Learning outcomes of the course
Industry technology’s laboratory environments is a learning environment enhancing students capabilities to conduct development-, design-, testing-, manufacturing- and prototyping projects. You engage to hands-on laboratory work to meet either for your own business idea or for a local or global company.

You recognize the development requirements in the organization and select the most appropriate method for reaching the goal, problem solving and scheduling. You are able to prepare a project plan related to his field, execute the project while taking into account your role in the project team and the stage in the project. You are able to justify the solutions made, to reflect your own and others performances as well as to report the project activities and the results both orally and in writing.

    Investigations and information retrieval:
You can analyze and solve technical challenges.

    Engineering practice:
You can use appropriate methods in a product development process and develop different kind of products, processes and systems.
    Prerequisites and co-requisites
Understanding of project management and project processes, basic studies of own field.
    Course contents
Different laboratory environments possibilities, developing, design, testing, measuring, simulation, prototyping or manufacturing, depending on the content of the project. Project planning, initiation, execution, monitoring, management, evaluation and reporting. Application of project management tools. The teams will evaluate the performance of their project together with clients (if any) and teachers.
    Assessment criteria
    Assessment criteria - grade 1 and 2
