Objectives
The students can define, in a reasonable way, the dimensioning and structural requirements of optimal equipment suitable for a transport considering an effective and economical use and they can define the necessary auxiliary devices and accessories.

Prerequisites
The students know the basics of mechanics and they are familiar with the behavior and characteristics of the most common structural materials and they are able to analyze mechanical systems. They know also the operation principles of the common systems in road transports and how to utilize their possibilities and behavior from the user’s viewpoint.
