Objectives

Student can utilize and apply in practice open data and geographic information in his/her own specialization area.

Content

Open data and geographic information in the agriculture, forestry and environment.
Basics of the QGIS software.

Learning materials and recommended literature

Are introduced in the beginning of the course. In the course are used QGIS-program. Student has to install program in her/his own computer.

Virtual lessons, assignments and virtual exam.

Virtual lessons, assignments and preparing to exam 135 hours.

1: Student will know geographic information materials and possibilities to utilize them in the bioeconomy field. Student can use QGIS software.
