Objective
The student
• Knows how to apply evidence-based information in a distinctive manner when planning and implementing physiotherapy connected with dysfunction of the Muskuloskeltal system.
• Is capable of appropriately evaluating the risk factors and musculoskeletal dysfunction, draws conclusions when using various tests of differential diagnostics and performance and, and when drafting physiotherapy plans for clients of different ages.
• Knows how to use various methods of guidance, teaching, and therapy, as well as ergonomic direction according to the client's goals in order to maintain and promote the functioning and health of the individual/group.
• Knows how to function independently, and like an entrepreneur, and to cooperate on a multi-professional level as an expert in physiotherapy in different kinds of teams, working groups, networks of experts, and service chains.
• Knows how to draft summaries, expert statements, and written commentary.
• Has the ability to follow working methods and methods of action that are compatible with sustainable development, and to act according to the principles of professional ethics in his or her field.

Completion alternatives
A student completes the supervised practical training with a passing mark, if he or she completes the agreed upon learning diary and a practical training report. The student may also complete practical training while on an international exchange.

Pass-fail
Pass. The student shows responsibility and functions independently in multi-professional cooperation, or on a team in different environments as an expert in physiotherapy.
The student is capable of evaluating a client's risk factors and disorders affecting movement, as well as the functional capacity of a client/athlete suffering from physical impairment, of drawing conclusions and drafting strong physiotherapy plans that withstand ethical and critical evaluation, to implement the therapy, to evaluate the need for auxiliary equipment, and to implement ergonomics surveys. The student uses and applies various guidance, teaching, and therapy methods in individual and group-type therapy situations in a client-oriented manner. The student drafts documents and statements linked with physiotherapy. The approach to the work is active and entrepreneurial.
