Objective
The Student
- Knows how to motivate, counsel, support and guide different clients and groups during the rehabilitation process in a client-oriented manner.
- Knows how to use the principles of service counselling in their work.
- Knows how to use various counselling methods in an ethical, goal-focused and sustainable manner.
- Knows how to support the rehabilitation of individuals and groups by strengthening the clients' participation and responsibility while taking the client's social contacts into account.
- Knows how to plan, organise and implement individual and group activities using appropriate tools (including technology and digitalisation).
- Knows how to comminicate and interact with the members of a multidisciplinary team.
- Is able to reflect on their actions in different context.
- Knows how to use neuropsychological theories as a part of counselling.
Content
Applying theoretical information related to counselling in planning, organising and implementing individual and group activities for different clients.
Functioning as an active member of a multidisciplinary work group in various operating environments.
Sharing, reflecting on and documenting one's own skills.
Basics of neuropsychology (1 ECTS credit)
Completion alternatives
The studentsuccessfully completes asupervised practical training period, written a training report and as well as actively participates in the workshop. She/hepasses succesfullyan examination in neuropsychology.

The student
- Uses diversely different kind of counsel methods in planning, organising and implementing the both individual and group activities.
- Uses information about the health and social services in the counsel process.
- Working as a active member of multidisciplinary work community.
- Is able to take into account the role of neuropsychology in a rehabilitation patient’s ability to function.
Qualifications
The student comprehends the rehabilitation service system and the essential laws and regulations that steers it. The student is familiar with the starting points, forms, actors and client groups related to rehabilitation. The student is familiar with some of the theoretical principles of rehabilitation counselling.
