Objective

The student knows the physiology, obstetric examination and care methods and medical care for the antenatal, delivery and postnatal periods in accordance with the requirements of midwifery. He/she knows the changes in the newborn’s condition as well as the key problems in the perinatal and neonatal periods and their treatment. The student knows the most common gynaecological diseases and their examination and treatment methods in accordance with the requirements of midwifery.

The student is able to assess his/her competence and knowledge in a critical manner.
