Objective

The student understands the physiology of delivery and deviations therein. He/she knows the demonstration-based follow-up, examination, guidance and care methods during delivery. The student can establish a safe and confidential co-operative relationship with the mother and family, and can provide resource-oriented and family-centred midwifery during delivery. He/she understands the significance of the delivery experience for the well-being of the mother, child and family, recognising his/her role in the delivery experience.

Tasks relating to midwifery are logical, and the student is able to combine issues consistently, providing excellent justification.
