Objective
The student understands the basics of the use of operation amplifiers and the principles of scaling sensor signal.
Content
The course includes passive low pass filter design and sizing, the use of transistor as a switch and scaling of a signal with an operational amplifier.

Sufficient 1: The student masters the theory on operational amplifiers sufficiently is is able to analyze existing solutions passably. The student is sufficiently able to design an amplifier application for a sensor and implement the design. The student reflects on his (her) learning sufficiently.
Satisfactory 2: The student masters the theory on operational amplifiers satisfactorily and is able to analyze existing solutions acceptably. The student is able to design an amplifier application for a sensor based on given requirement definition satisfactorily. The student is also able to implement the design satisfactorily. The student reflects on his (her) learning passably.
