Objective

The purpose of the course is to provide you with a theoretical base for planning your own teaching.
You will become familiar with various concepts of learning and pedagogical points of departure throughout the course. You will use these to develop your own theory-in-use for teaching.
You will also become familiar with curricula in your field and use them as a starting point for planning and delivering teaching.
In addition, you will familiarise yourself with different digital environments and use them to complete learning assignments.

Content

The concept of the ‘man’, the concept of ‘knowledge’, and different concepts of learning as the basis of a theory-in-use for teaching.
Towards a competence-based curriculum and curriculum work
Qualification requirements for a competence-based curriculum
Curricula in basic art education.
A competence-based approach to planning teaching modules.

Completion alternatives

Active participation in contact teaching, learning cirle work, virtual work and approved completion of assignments.

The student has a firm command of the basic principles associated with concepts of learning and is able to describe their own concept of learning.

The student is familiar with curricula in their field and recognises the significance of concepts of learning as a foundation for curricula and teaching.

The student works responsibly and cooperatively during the course and uses digital tools in their studies.
