Objective
Student is able to recognize the challenges in global public health. Student is able to deliver patient-centered care and apply evidence-based knowledge of nursing diagnosing and nursing intervention in prevention, treatment and monitoring of the most common public health problems, focusing on health outcomes. Student understands the importance of multi-professional collaboration in public health care.
Content
Current and potential future challenges in global public health (most common internal diseases, infectious diseases and cancers). Central nursing diagnosis and nursing interventions in disease prevention and evidence-based care of patients of various backgrounds and with public health problems. Health benefit framework in the care of patients with public health problems in multi-professional collaboration.
