Objective

Student recognizes various digital business models and opportunities. He/she has business understanding of some relevant technologies (e.g. IOT).
Student knows IT project process and understands software lifecycle. Student knows agile development practices.

Teaching methods

Contact lessons 4h/week, if covid-19 -situation allows.

Independent work, contact lessons and group work.
Flipped classroom: Students read given materials before contact lessons.
Contact lessons focus on tasks and discussions.
Students create a digital business plan for a case company as a group work.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Excellent(5): The student is ablet to independently evaluate digital business and software business concepts and practices and can apply those to an agile IT-project.
Very Good: (4): Student is able to combine digital business concepts with agile development. He/She is able to apply the concepts in practice.
Good (3): The student understands digital business and software business concepts and practices. Student knows agile development practices and principles and is able to actively participate at an agile project.
Satisfactory (2): Student understands basics of digital business. Student is able to work in an agile project.
Sufficient (1): Student has some knowledge on digital business. Her/His project results are not related to agile development.
Fail (0):Student does not understand digital business. She/He is not able to participate at an agile IT-project.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Good (3): You understand digital business and software business concepts and practices. You see the connections of new technologies and digital business.You understand agile development practices and principles and are able to actively participate at an agile project.

Very Good: (4): You are able to combine digital business concepts with agile development. You apply the concepts in practice according to pre-set goals. You explain the choices that you make. You organize the work in your group or in your project.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Excellent(5): You are able to independently evaluate digital business and software business concepts and practices and apply those to an agile project. You report your work logically and illustratively. You develop your group or project work in an agile way and reflect your learning.
