Objective

The students
• are familiar with the legislation and documents controlling early childhood education
• know the individual, communal and societal factors related to childhood
• are aware of the significance of parental engagement and multi-professionalism in early childhood education work
• know the essential health problems of children.

Content

Documents and legislation controlling early childhood education, services of early childhood education, parental engagement, multi-professionalism, recent studies on early childhood education, health problems of children at different stages of life; their treatment, rehabilitation and health promotion and welfare of children and their families.
