Objective

The students masters common ground survey methods and know the
regulations and guidelines related to the design, implementation and
supervision of foundation structures. They know different types of
substructure construction, building pits, the drainage and frost protection of
building ground, and the requirements for filling work.
The student is able to define the width of a continuing foundation using wall loads and earth parameters.
