Objective

The students are able to evaluate the operational environment for entrepreneurship from the point of view of the bio-economy so globally than local regionally. The students are able to evaluate the bio-economy to deal with the company's business plan and are able to plan on the basis of the company's business idea related to the functioning of the economy and development measures.

Location and time

Kontaktiopetus tapahtuu Biotalousinstituutissa Saarijärvellä. Yritysvierailuja tehdään Keski-Suomen alueella, ja lisäksi vierailijoita käy tunneilla. Ellet pääse osallistumaan vierailuihin, voit tehdä niitä itsenäisesti valitsemiisi biotalousalan yrityksiin.

Teaching methods

Opintojaksolla kehität omaa biotalouden asiantuntemustasi. Käymme useilla yritysvierailuilla, joiden antiin perehdymme yhdessä. Lisäksi teet liiketoiminta-analyysejä biotalousalan yrityksistä eri näkökulmista ja perehdyt kiertotalouden liiketoimintamahdollisuuksiin.

Exam schedules

Opintojaksosta ei järjestetä tenttiä. Suoritus muodostuu yritysvierailujen analysoinnista, liiketoiminta-analyyseistä sekä kiertotalouden liiketoimintamahdollisuuksien hallitsemisen osoittamisesta.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Adequate learner (1)
The student:
- Has evaluated a business plan for a product or service of the bioeconomy enterprise. Has produced a benchmarking report.

Satisfactory learner (2)
In addition to the above the student:
- Is familiar with the evaluation methods of the target area of the bioeconomy business potential identification.

Good learner (3)
In addition to the above the student:
- Is able to identify the target area of the bioeconomy business potential independently
- Is able to take into account the acquired target area of the bioeconomy business opportunities related information business plan drawn up.

Very good learner (4)
In addition to the above the student:
- Is able to assess the business plan the feasibility and development needs of the target area on the basis of the special features.

Excellent learner (5)
In addition to the above the student:
- Is able to assess the societal and international changes on the risks facing the business plan feasibility.
