Objective

The student has the knowledge and skills to implement a small-scale applications in a various fields of automation. The student is able to obtain the necessary information for problem solving from appropriate and reliable sources.

The student is able to work and solve technical problems independently as well as a member of a multilingual team. The student can produce reports and is capable to evaluate his/her work methods and learning outcome in order to recognize new learning objectives.

Supervised laboratory assignments including various learning tasks.

No exam is arranged in this course. Assessment is based on laboratory assignments and project assignment.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Excellent (5): The student masters the technology used in the course and is capable to apply this knowledge. Work methods and communication are professional and mature enough to increase the performance and learning results of the team. The student exceeds the objectives of the project. Presentation, reporting and self-evaluation is analytic and precise.

Very good (4): The student masters the technology used in the course. The student is capable to independently obtain the necessary information for accomplishing the laboratory assignments and the project from appropriate and reliable sources. The student fully achieves the objectives of the project. Presentation, reporting and self-evaluation is precise.

Good (3): The student masters the technology used in the course in general. The student works and communicates effectively as a member of a team. The student achieves the key objectives of the project and participates presentation and reporting of the results. The student evaluates his/her work and learning.

Satisfactory (2): The student knows the technology used in the laboratory assignments in general. The student participates the project.

Adequate (1): The student recognizes the technology used in the course and is able to carry out all the laboratory assignments as a member of a team.
