Objective

Adopting an enquiring and development-orientated approach during the course. You will deepen your understanding of the professional skills required of a teacher by examining relevant issues in the field from the perspective of theory and practice. You will develop your own pedagogical competence by focusing on a pedagogical perspective that interests you. You will utilise digital solutions in documenting and presenting on your own competence.

Content

Using theory and practical knowledge to familiarise yourself with your chosen field of pedagogy.
Analysis of pedagogical thinking and activities.
Argumentation and written presentation of one's own thinking
Reflecting on one's own professional identity and highlighting one's own competence using digital platforms.

Teaching methods

Opintojaksoon sisältyy, webinaareja ja etätyöskentelyä yksin ja pienryhmissä. Opintojaksolla työstät oppimistehtäviä yhteistoiminnallisesti. Webinaareihin valmistaudut perehtymällä annettuihin lähdeaineistoihin sekä tekemällä annetut tehtävät. Opiskeltuja sisältöjä jaetaan webinaareissa yhteisesti keskustellen ja muilta oppien.

Opintojakson aikana, eri työskentelyvaiheissa annat ja saat vertaispalautetta. Opintojakson päätteeksi teet itsearvioinnin. Kouluttaja antaa palautetta ja tekee arviointikriteerien perusteella arviointipäätöksen.

Oppimistehtävien työstämisestä yhteistoiminnallisesti 50 h

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The student is able to examine teaching work in a conceptual manner.
The student is able intelligibly express their thoughts to the reader in writing.
The student actively participates as a peer supervisor.
The student realistically assesses their own development as a teacher.
The student utilises digital solutions in documenting and presenting their own competence.

Qualifications

Opettaja oman työnsä kehittäjänä -jaksolle osallistumisen edellytys on opintojaksojen Opettaminen ammattina, Oppiminen ja opetussuunnitelmat sekä Ohjaus ja arviointi suoritus.
