Objective
Purpose of the course
After studying this course, you will be able to choose suitable machine tools that can be used to implement the production objectives of an agricultural company. You will also be able to observe in practical conditions the quantities that are essential for field farming and livestock management and to identify distractions.

Biomass-growing technology; soil preparation, sowing, plant preservation, harvesting and storage machinery and equipment
Biomass-processing technologies without animals
Biommass processing technologies using animals
Measurement technology related to biomass-growing and refining under field conditions

Teaching methods
This is an independently advancing online course (open AMK). Studying is based on an independent learning from materials (text and video materials) and performing given tasks. This course is nonstop-course, meaning that you can star your studies anytime you wish and starting moment determines the length of your course.
This course uses Moodle as a learning platform. Student receive a feedback from all study assignments.
This is a voluntary part of Young Farmer's Studies- package.
Exam schedules
No course exam. The course will be completed with assignments and portfolio about farm machinery.

The grade of the course is determined by continuous assessment meaning that the assignments to be returned are evaluated and part of the final grade. The biggest assignment is the portfolio about farm machinery.
