Objective
The student learns to recognize the features of good nutrition for an athlete and its effects in daily training. With the help of a food diary, the athlete gets feedback on his own food intake and is able to develop it if necessary. The student understands and recognizes the role of psychological training as part of comprehensive training and competition.
Content
In the second part, we will familiarize ourselves with the nutrition and psychological training of athletes with the help of lectures and assignments. The athlete gets information about sports nutrition and psychological training and their role in the athlete's everyday life. In the course, the athlete examines personal food intake using a food diary.
Location and time
Non-stop toteutus. Opiskelija voi suorittaa opintojakson oman aikataulun mukaisesti.

The student knows the impact of nutrition on overall well-being and recognizes the special features of sports in terms of nutrition. The student understands the role of psychological coaching in a sports career. The student recognizes his strengths and development targets in nutrition and psychological well-being.
