Objective
Preventive maintenance and its planning are an important part of the operations of a modern production plant.
In this course, you will learn to identify development targets and starting points for preventive maintenance. You will learn the basics of other methods of preventive maintenance. You will learn to identify the most common maintenance KPI's and make use of maintenance research data.
The development of your skills starts with understanding the basic concepts of maintenance, such as types of maintenance, maintenance methods and functions. You will continue to develop in the knowledge, selection and practical application of the above-mentioned basic concepts. You will learn to apply individual maintenance methods in practice.
After completing this course, you will understand the importance of modern production plant maintenance and the methods and functions of maintenance. You have learned to identify the basic concepts of maintenance and to apply individual methods in practice, ie to develop maintenance in a production plant.
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
You can identify the development targets and starting points for preventive maintenance for the systematic development of operational reliability in a production plant.

You know how to work systematically and purposefully in maintenance expert tasks. You know how to share your own expertise and use the expertise of others to your advantage in developing industrial maintenance.

Identification of maintenance development targets. Identification and utilization of preventive maintenance methods (eg condition monitoring). Acquisition and application of theoretical knowledge of maintenance in learning tasks.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed
Approved: You will master the concepts and methods of Preventive maintenance and be able to apply them to solutions to industrial maintenance challenges. You are also familiar with other methods of preventive maintenance. You identify the most common KPI's. You can utilize maintenance research data.
Failed: The student's competence does not meet the requirements for approved performance.
