Objective

In companies today the automation is often done by using robotics. There is often need to tailor the robots more suitable for the company. At this course you will get familiar to different type of robots and the possibility to tailor them. The interface of the frames of the robots will be familiar to you and you will also get to know the grippers and their connections to the robots. You will understand the principles of programming robots and designing the parts of the robots.

Engineering practice:
You know how to analyze the parts of the robots and you know the programming principles of robots.

Communication and team-working:
You can communicate about robotics with automaton designer.

Content

Different robots, grippers of the robots, principles of robot programming.

Materials

Luentomateriaali. Ilmoitetan tarkemmin opintojakson aloituksessa.

Teaching methods

Luennot, tiedonhaku ja soveltavat oppimistehtävät. Ongelmalähtöisen oppimisen kautta opiskelijoilla on oppimistehtäviä ratkottavana. Tehtäviä tehdään pääosin ryhmissä. Opintojaksosta kerätään sen puolivälissä vapaamuotoinen anonyymi palaute.

Exam schedules

Tentti viikolla 41-43/2023 ja kaksi uusintenttiä.

Student workload

Luennot 40 h, oppimistehtävät 50 h ja itsenäinen työskentely 45 h. Yhteensä 135 h oppimistyötä.
