Objective

The purpose is that students are able to develop and manage their work community and reform working life as an autonomous advanced nurse practitioner to promote sustainable, cost-effective and client-oriented health services. They can develop and manage multidisciplinary teams and the communication and interaction culture of healthcare in their own specialty area. Students can also develop and manage the comprehensive well-being of a work community. Students are able to promote the resilience of healthcare personnel in their own specialty area. Students can advocate for and participate in creating healthcare organisation that supports safe client care and collaborative practices.

By the end of the course, you are able to deepen and extend the role of advanced practice nurse as a part of a multi-professional team in your own specialty area. You have gained experience as an autonomous practitioner, and you are able to act in a guided autonomous practitioner role or potential future role. You are able to independently educate and mentor healthcare professionals to use and apply the best, current evidence on digital technologies to ensure high-quality care and to renew services. You are also able to utilise digitalisation and emerging technologies in development and management. You possess knowledge and skills to monitor and critically evaluate effectiveness of nursing outcomes.

Pass: you are able to reform working life as an autonomous advanced nurse practitioner to promote sustainable, cost-effective and client-oriented health services. You can develop and manage multi-professional teams and the communication and interaction culture of healthcare in your own specialty area. You are able to advocate for and participate in creating healthcare organisation that supports patient safety culture and collaborative practices. You have deepened and extended your role as an advanced nurse practitioner to work in an autonomous role in your own specialty area. You can independently mentor and educate healthcare personnel. You are able to apply digitalisation and emerging technologies in development and management and can monitor and evaluate effectiveness of nursing outcomes in your own area of specialisation.

Qualifications
