In this course you will learn the basics of vaccination competence.

Outcomes
After completing this course, you understand the importance of vaccination and the ethical principles of the individual, the community and society.
You understand the importance of vaccination worldwide as a health-promoting activity.
You will have the capacity for evidence-based guidance and counseling on vaccinations.
You are be familiar with the vaccine preventable diseases, the national vaccination program and the adverse effects of vaccinations.
You can aseptically and safely vaccinate under supervision

E-learning in Metropolia´s Moodle: independent studying of the material, course portfolio, pop up- and reclection tasks, online test and vaccination training in autumn 2024.
