Objective

The students understands how contact with the nature influences on human well-being. She knows theories and examples of Green Care and its effects on human health and well-being. She can utilize benefits of the nature in her own occupation. The student respects different relationships with nature and is able to understand the meaning of guiding in Green Care interventions.
- The student is able to categorize health and well-being effects of the nature and can explain theoretical background of the effects.
- The student can evaluate her own connection/relationship with nature and is able to choose ways to strengthen it.
- The student can support and strenghten clien's connection to the nature base on goals and professionalism.

The student knows value base, position statement and quality factors of Green Care and. She is able to analyze special features of Green Care and is able to distinct it from other interventions that promote well-being. The student know Green Care-field in Finland and internationally.
- The student can analyze quality of Green Care interventions and its components.
- The student can evaluate special features of Green Care and can distinct them from other interventions that promote well-being.
- The student can evaluate benefits and meaning of Green Care in society.
- The student can describe Green Care field's special features in Finland and internationally.

Pass/Fail

You participate to contact meetings and do assignments in time. You show that you understand how nature influences on human health and well-being. You show knowledge of background theories of nature and well-being and apply theories into your own actions. You can explain how Green Care can be used in different levels of society. You show that you know different nature-relationships, you understand the meaning of guidance in Green Care activities. You know the basic principles and elements of Green Care activity. You can view Green Care in analytic way and you can distinct it's special features when comparing it to other methods/activities.

Fail:
You do no participate to contact meetings and do assignments in time. You cannot show that you understand how nature influences on human health and well-being. You cannot show knowledge of background theories of nature and well-being and apply theories into your own actions. You are not able to explain how Green Care can be used in different levels of society. You cannot show that you know different nature-relationships, you understand the meaning of guidance in Green Care activities. You do not know the basic principles and elements of Green Care activity. You cannot view Green Care in analytic way and you can distinct it's special features when comparing it to other methods/activities.
